Why you keep on gaining weight back
and how to change it
A free 8 page booklet that could be the start of a new relationship with your body…
…starts with one brave step toward yourself.
There’s often more to wanting to lose weight than the number on the scale.
If you’re here, you may have been seeking to lose 10kg, 20kg, 30kg, or simply to feel more vital, more energised. But you may also sense that this isn’t simply about eating less or trying harder. Perhaps you’ve spent years learning how to respond to other persons’ needs and expectations, without ever really learning how to listen to yourself — what you need, what feels good to you, or how to care for yourself in a way that truly supports you.
And sometimes, that shows up in your relationship with food, your body, and your weight.
You’ve probably heard that health comes in every size — and you know that’s true.
You can recognise that someone else’s weight doesn’t tell you whether they are healthy, happy or at peace with their body. At the same time, you’re allowed to acknowledge that your own experience matters too.
Perhaps your current weight doesn’t feel right for you. Perhaps you don’t feel as comfortable, energetic or at home in your body as you would like to.
And perhaps you’ve noticed that there are other things you’ve been putting aside too:
These things aren’t necessarily the cause of your weight. But they can all be part of the bigger picture of how you care for yourself and contribute to your ability to maintain the lifestyle that’s right for you.
You try a new plan. You follow the rules. You lose weight. And then, eventually, something happens. Life gets busy, the rules become harder to follow, or your body pushes back — and the weight comes back.
It’s easy to conclude that you simply need more discipline.
I see it differently.
If a strategy repeatedly works only while you can maintain strict rules, it may not be addressing everything that influences your eating, your wellbeing and your weight.
Instead of giving you another set of rules to follow, we look at the bigger picture.
I don’t believe weight loss needs to be a punishment, a measure of your worth, or a way of making yourself acceptable to other people.
And I don’t believe you have to choose between loving your food and body and wanting your weight to change.
My approach brings the two together.
Alongside learning how to nourish and care for your body, we explore the beliefs and patterns that influence your choices — how you respond to your needs, how you relate to food, and what you believe about yourself and your body.
You learn to listen to your body without being ruled by every craving or every food rule. You learn to recognise what you actually need, make choices from a place of self-trust, and take care of yourself in ways that are realistic for your life.
And as that relationship changes, your weight can change too — without making weight loss the only measure of success.
The goal isn’t to spend the rest of your life fighting your body.
It’s to build a way of caring for yourself that feels sustainable, supportive and genuinely yours.
