About Margaux

"I spent fifteen years losing and regaining the same weight, only to realize I was really losing myself."

I grew up in France, immersed in a culture that often valued being thin over being truly healthy. From a young age, I watched the women around me struggle with their body image, and I felt that same judgments directed at me. My body was scrutinized and labeled, which left me feeling angry and confused by a frustrating double standard: thin people could eat whatever they wanted, even be praised for their appetite, while everyone else was told to restrict.

At 16, I followed my mom to a dietitian and started my first strict, high-protein diet. It worked for a while—until it didn’t.

That initial weight loss earned me a flood of external validation, and it didn’t take long for me to become dependent on that praise to feel worthy. Over the next 15 years, I fell into a cycle of restrictive dieting. I lost and regained the same 15 to 20 kilos over and over, ultimately cycling through more than 65 kilos of weight loss and regain.

The turning point

It wasn’t until my divorce that I finally decided I’d had enough. I was tired of giving away my power and starving myself—emotionally, energetically and physically. I initiated the process of letting go of the toxic beliefs I held about food, my body, and my worth. Instead of chasing perfection, I focused on learning to listen to my actual needs and nourishing my life.

Where I am now

Today, my life feels fuller than ever. While I may not look like the filtered images in magazines, I’ve reached a weight that is stable and healthy for me. Most importantly, I never consider myself “on a diet.”

That sense of freedom—the ability to live without the constant scrutiny and restriction—is exactly what I want to help you achieve, too.

Bridging human rights advocacy and holistic health

My journey into coaching didn’t start with dieting; it started with a deep commitment to human dignity. With a background in international human rights law advocating for individual rights and systemic change, I realized my true calling lay in the art of healing. I retrained as a health coach, later deepening my expertise in nutrition and food preparation.

Today, I balance my coaching practice with my work as an Assistant Chef specializing in wholesome, vegetarian cuisine. While my professional path has shifted, my focus remains on individual agency—helping women reclaim their health and sense of autonomy.
